About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified physics specialist to design and solve challenging physics problems that test the limits of large language models. This short‑term, remote contract role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to shape AI evaluation benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve physics problems ranging from early‑undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Create clear, step‑by‑step solutions with well‑articulated reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula.
• Explain physics concepts using simple language, visuals, and logical reasoning.
• Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Master’s, PhD, or post‑doctoral degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Creative and lateral thinking skills.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration in a remote setting.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
• Access to a desktop or laptop with reliable internet.
