Sanitary Product Quality Officer

About the role

The Sanitary Product Quality Officer is responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting real-time inspections, verifying packaging integrity, and ensuring accurate product coding while supporting corrective actions to maintain high quality and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online quality inspections during production to confirm products meet company standards.
• Inspect packaging material sealing to guarantee proper and secure sealing quality.
• Check product spray coding/printing for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
• Identify, record, and report defective or non-conforming products for rework or corrective action.
• Stop production equipment immediately and initiate rework procedures when non-conforming products are detected.
• Verify that the correct raw materials are used in each shift.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality-control records.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Follow company safety, hygiene, and quality-assurance procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by management related to quality-control operations.

Required profile

• Diploma/HND qualification or equivalent tertiary education.
• Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing operations is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of quality inspection processes and manufacturing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects accurately.
• Good record-keeping and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work shifts when required.
