Video Editing Intern – Remote

About the role

The Video Editing Intern will support Akwannya Hub by editing video content from webinars, workshops, conferences and social media, ensuring clear storytelling and consistent branding.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage, trim and sequence clips.
• Add transitions, titles, simple motion graphics and perform basic color correction.
• Adapt videos for various platforms and optimize formats.
• Maintain organized media libraries.
• Collaborate with content creators and the marketing team.
• Contribute creative ideas, stay updated on video trends and implement feedback.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn video production and editing tools.
• Working knowledge of motion graphics and simple animations.
• Basic familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant coursework or project experience in video or media is a plus.
