Workshop Production Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our hardware factory workshop, which produces nails, tiles, and pipes. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and guiding a skilled team to achieve production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and targets.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards through regular inspections and adherence to SOPs.
• Lead, train, and motivate workshop technicians and operators, fostering safety and teamwork.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to keep machinery and equipment in optimal condition.
• Track production metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams to secure raw materials and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in hardware or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control standards in the hardware industry.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing and inspiring teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, WMS, and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
