Business Development Analyst – Fixed Services

About the role

Telecel Ghana is seeking a Business Development Analyst to lead the growth of its Fixed Business segment. The role will manage the full sales lifecycle, from subscriber acquisition and retention to the design and execution of go‑to‑market strategies, ensuring the fixed voice and data services are competitively positioned.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement compelling sales offerings in partnership with Sales & Product teams.
• Collaborate with customer experience and fixed services teams to ensure seamless onboarding and installation for customers.
• Motivate sales agents through dynamic commission structures.
• Provide regional sales and gross‑adds performance visibility via regular reporting.
• Develop and optimise sales channels (direct, online, retail, alternative) to meet gross‑adds targets.
• Position Telecel competitively on fixed voice and data through an engagement roadmap covering communications, experiential initiatives, sponsorships and events.
• Own and execute the fixed‑line marketing and engagement roadmap to boost brand awareness and consideration.
• Oversee fixed digital and social media channels, ensuring relevant and appealing content.
• Identify opportunities to improve NPS, profitability and market perception of key capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum a degree in Marketing, Finance, Accounting or related field, or at least 3 years of telecom, technology or commercial experience.
• Outstanding knowledge of database systems and report‑management software applications.
• Experience in go‑to‑market, brand, project, stakeholder and sales management.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills for developing business cases and interpreting performance data.
• Ability to anticipate industry trends, technology changes and customer preferences.
