About the role
The Country Manager for Ghana will lead NCR Atleos Banking’s commercial strategy in the country, acting as the primary face of the business to financial institutions, government bodies, and internal stakeholders. This senior role is accountable for sales performance, customer relationships, regulatory engagement, and overall operational execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead sales and relationship management teams to drive new business, renewals, and customer satisfaction.
- Own and manage commercial P&L, develop operating plans, budgets, and monitor financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite stakeholders at financial institutions and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Engage with government and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local laws and industry standards.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing local team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Maintain deep market intelligence on Ghana’s banking sector, competitors, and trends to inform strategy.
- Ensure efficient execution of sales operations, onboarding, and service delivery, using performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Provide direct oversight of financial institution sales and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with corporate, marketing, and product teams.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L.
- Strong relationships with C‑suite executives in financial institutions.
- Experience engaging with regulators and government bodies.
- Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of the Ghana banking market and competitive landscape.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking.
