FullStack Technical Leader (.NET Core, React)

About the role

The Full‑Stack Technical Leader will drive the technical direction of our web, mobile and backend platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will mentor a growing team while collaborating closely with product owners and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own end‑to‑end architecture across React/Next.js, React Native and .NET Core services.
• Make pragmatic decisions on modular monolith versus micro‑service approaches, service boundaries and integration patterns.
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design to establish clear domain boundaries, bounded contexts and domain events.
• Set and enforce standards for code quality, testing, API contracts and documentation.
• Partner with product owners to clarify requirements, break epics into deliverable slices and provide realistic estimates.
• Plan sprints, manage dependencies, mitigate risks and balance speed with technical sustainability.
• Lead and mentor engineers through pair programming, design and code reviews.
• Guide UI development for responsive web and polished mobile experiences, including accessibility and device‑specific considerations.
• Design and implement secure, resilient .NET Core APIs, background processing and idempotent operations.
• Drive database schema design, migrations, indexing and query optimisation.
• Establish observability foundations for system health monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior engineer or technical lead with ownership of delivery.
• Strong system‑design skills and ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience shipping production full‑stack products across web, mobile and backend.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
