About the role
Our client, a financial institution operating in the finance and investment sector, is seeking a General Manager – Finance & Treasury to lead its finance and treasury functions across Accra and the Tema region. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving strategic financial management, department efficiency, and delivering measurable results.
Required profile
- 6–8 years post‑qualification experience, with at least 3 years in the financial services sector
- ACCA or CIMA chartered
- Minimum 2 years in a strategic management role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to set up and strengthen departments for efficiency and productivity
- Proven ability to define and execute strategic directions delivering measurable results
- Internally motivated with enthusiasm and passion for the job
- Control‑oriented, target‑driven and results focused
- Strong social influence, positive expectancy and expressiveness
- Demonstrated team leadership and composure during change
