Head of Sales & Branch Operations

About the role

The Head of Sales & Branch Operations will lead the institution’s sales strategy, branch performance, and operational excellence across Ghana. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will ensure the organization remains competitive in the micro‑finance sector while upholding its Christian‑based mission.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in developing the Business Plan in collaboration with Finance and Administration.
• Lead integration with World Vision and monitor social performance.
• Review and update credit policies and operational guidelines.
• Ensure branch performance targets align with micro‑finance standards.
• Coordinate network development, monitor branch activities, and optimise processes for profitability and security.
• Safeguard credit portfolio quality and oversee risk governance.
• Contribute to product, service, and procedure design and updates.
• Train, equip, and motivate field staff to achieve objectives.
• Consolidate and analyse financial, portfolio, and impact reports, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Participate actively in the institution’s spiritual activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in economics, management, finance, or banking.
• 6–8 years of experience in micro‑finance or banking, with solid operations and commercial management background.
• Proven ability to build and manage teams, including regional managers.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of micro‑finance regulations in Ghana.
• Commitment to Christian values and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of T24 software (asset).
• Familiarity with standard micro‑finance/banking operations management applications (credit/savings).
