Health & Safety Specialist – Manufacturing

About the role

The company is looking for a qualified Health & Safety Specialist to support safety operations across its ceramic manufacturing plant. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety among all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments throughout the factory.
• Deliver safety training and induction programmes for new and existing employees.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with internal safety policies and external regulations.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
• Prior experience in industrial safety is an advantage.
• Strong communication and report‑writing abilities.
