Heavy Locomotive Maintenance Officer (2 positions)

About the role

We are looking for two Heavy Locomotive Maintenance Officers to lead and coordinate maintenance activities for our diesel‑electric locomotive fleet. The role involves supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting efficient railway operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise scheduled inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance on diesel‑electric locomotives.
• Plan and monitor diagnosis and mechanical system faults.
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance procedures and operational requirements.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to report on maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial experience in locomotive or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong leadership, planning and supervisory abilities.
• Good knowledge of railway maintenance procedures and workplace safety standards.
