Electrical Technician (4 positions) – Ghana Railway

About the role

We are looking for four skilled Electrical Technicians to join the Ghana Railway Development Authority in Tema. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems used in locomotive operations, ensuring reliable and safe railway services.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain and replace faulty electrical systems on locomotives.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning and prepare maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and established maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technician Part 3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of industrial experience in electrical maintenance or industrial operations.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, safety procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
