IGCSE & A-Level Physics Teacher

About the role

Crystal Heights International School is looking for a full‑time IGCSE/A‑Level Physics Teacher to join its campus in Accra. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons that align with the IGCSE and A‑Level curricula, assess student progress, and foster critical thinking and problem‑solving skills in physics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging physics lessons for IGCSE and A‑Level students.
• Create teaching materials and resources that support curriculum objectives.
• Assess and record student performance, providing constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on academic and co‑curricular initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching certification or a degree in Physics Education or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of physics and proficiency in mathematics.
• Demonstrated experience in lesson planning and effective teaching methodologies.
• Commitment to motivate and inspire students.
• Prior experience teaching IGCSE and/or A‑Level physics is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
