About the role
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our leading hospitality establishment in Takoradi. The role involves evaluating internal controls, risk management and governance processes to ensure efficient, effective and compliant hotel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance.
- Develop and implement audit plans, procedures and tools in line with hotel policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify improvement areas and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Evaluate financial statements, accounting records and other financial data for accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and monitor their progress.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA or ICAG is an advantage.
- Minimum three years of internal auditing experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Required skills
- Knowledge of internal auditing standards.
- Risk management expertise.
- Understanding of governance processes.
- Financial statement analysis.
