Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join its Accra office. You will work on AI‑native products, collaborating closely with senior engineers and using advanced AI coding tools to accelerate development.

Key responsibilities

• Build product features under guidance from senior engineers.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to speed up learning and implementation.
• Contribute across the stack: frontend, backend, testing, and internal tooling.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Document work clearly and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Strong programming fundamentals with evidence of projects, internships, open‑source contributions, or self‑directed learning.
• High learning velocity and curiosity about AI and software products.
• Clear communication, discipline, and reliability in a high‑performance environment.
