Project Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Advans Ghana Savings and Loans Limited is seeking a Project Manager – Financial Services to lead and deliver financial service projects, working closely with the DCOO/COO. The role involves planning, executing and monitoring projects that enhance the bank’s electronic payment and mobile banking capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the DCOO/COO to define project scope, ownership and required resources.
• Create detailed work plans, sequence activities and establish project schedules.
• Advise on time, budget, equipment and other resources needed for successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, track milestones and adjust plans to keep projects on track.
• Develop documentation, forms and records to capture project information securely.
• Communicate status, risks and issues to stakeholders and schedule regular coordination meetings.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and evaluate outcomes against predefined objectives.

Required profile

• First degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, Humanities or Arts, with a professional qualification such as PMP; MBA is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a product manager in electronic payments, cards/ATMs or mobile banking solutions.
• Operational knowledge of financial services and understanding of the micro‑finance environment.
• Strong project management, analytical and communication skills, with an ethical and collaborative approach.
