Special Event Coordinator Intern

About the role

Join Sai Wine & Champagne Café as a Special Event Coordinator Intern and support the planning and execution of a variety of events in a vibrant wine and champagne bar setting. This full‑time, on‑site internship in Accra offers hands‑on experience in event management, vendor coordination, and guest engagement over a six‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing event concepts and themes that align with the café’s brand.
• Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to secure resources.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for event days.
• Handle on‑site logistics, including setup, registration, and post‑event breakdown.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and provide exceptional customer service throughout events.
• Maintain detailed event documentation and post‑event reports.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Experience or strong interest in event planning and management.
• Ability to organize volunteers and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Hospitality or food‑and‑beverage experience is a plus.
