Waiter – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi is looking for a motivated Waiter to join its Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to guests in a three‑star business and leisure environment, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the service station before, during and after each shift, ensuring cleanliness and proper set‑up.
• Enter guest orders into the point‑of‑sale system and deliver the correct dishes with appropriate accompaniments.
• Monitor guest needs, replenish beverages and snacks promptly, and respond to special requests.
• Maintain professional and courteous interaction with guests at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold personal hygiene and appearance standards.
• Ensure bar utensils are clean, available, and stored correctly after use.
• Know menu items, beverage selections, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Set up service areas quickly to provide efficient, quality service.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the F&B Manager.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospitality or food‑and‑beverage setting.
• Excellent oral communication skills in English and the local language.
• Positive interpersonal abilities and a team‑oriented attitude.
