About the role
Google’s Student Researcher program hires students to work on research projects that align with company priorities in scientific advancement. Participants collaborate with research teams across Google, including DeepMind and Google Research, on real‑world, large‑scale problems.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in research projects focused on developing innovative solutions for large‑scale challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to explore and advance scientific research areas.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Natural Sciences, or related fields.
- Experience in at least one computer‑science area such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, or Data Science.
Required skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go).
- Experience with research activities, such as internships, lab work, or publishing papers.
