About the role
The Tax Supervisor will lead tax reporting, planning and compliance activities for SLB in Ghana. Reporting to the regional tax management team, you will ensure accurate filing, support audits, and drive process improvements across corporate and indirect tax functions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tax compliance reviews for CIT, WHT, VAT, PIT and other statutory obligations.
- Coordinate external tax audits and prepare internal management reports.
- Manage cash repatriation, tax credit projects and support restructuring initiatives.
- Prepare, review and file corporate and indirect tax returns on schedule.
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Mentor junior tax team members and support tax audits as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- 4‑6 years of tax practice experience, preferably in a professional services or audit environment.
- Professional qualification or membership of a Chartered Accounting/Taxation institute is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, audits and compliance processes.
- Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
