User Experience Designer

About the role

Zof AI is seeking a User Experience Designer to shape the review experience for engineers interacting with autonomous code‑generation agents. The role focuses on building trust in AI‑suggested code changes through research, interaction design, and rapid prototyping.

Key responsibilities

• Design the review interface where engineers accept, reject, or revise agent‑proposed code changes.
• Conduct research with engineers and QA leads to understand how trust in automation is built and lost.
• Define how evidence, reproduction steps, and validation results are presented to enable fast, informed decisions.
• Translate research findings into flows, wireframes, and interaction specifications for engineering implementation.
• Prototype and test interaction patterns for agent status, uncertainty, and failure states.
• Extend the design system with components and patterns for reviewing machine‑generated work.
• Partner with product and engineering from problem framing through shipped experience.
• Use AI tools daily to compress the loop from research question to testable prototype.

Required profile

• Experience designing complex product flows end‑to‑end.
• A portfolio that demonstrates research influencing design decisions.
• Working knowledge of research methods, from interviews to usability testing.
• Ability to move from research insights to wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Familiarity with design systems and component‑level thinking.
• Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and designing for technical users.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
