Vehicle Sales Engineer – Automotive Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Vehicle Sales Engineer to lead sales and marketing of Isuzu, Chevrolet and Suzuki vehicles and spare parts across the assigned territory. The role combines technical automotive knowledge with proactive customer engagement to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Report market trends, opportunities and sales performance to the Sales Manager.
• Develop and execute customer call schedules and sales strategies to meet annual goals.
• Identify prospects, conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, and close sales.
• Create and manage a structured call plan for spare‑part sales supporting vehicle sales.
• Prepare timely activity reports and maintain accurate sales records.
• Monitor automotive market developments and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mining or Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum two years post‑qualification experience in automotive sales or related field.
• Excellent communication and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work with little supervision and willing to work long hours or weekends when required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access.
• Strong computer literacy and internet research skills.
