About the role
University of Ghana Medical School is seeking qualified physicians to fill full‑time academic positions ranging from Lecturer to Professor across its basic, para‑clinical and clinical science departments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in assigned medical subjects.
- Conduct and supervise research projects aligned with the school’s mission.
- Participate in clinical service delivery and community health activities.
Required profile
- Qualified physician with a PhD or terminal professional qualification (Fellow/Member of Ghana, West Africa or Royal Colleges of Physicians or Surgeons, or equivalent).
- For Basic and Para‑Clinical Science posts, a PhD degree is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research and service.
