AI Platform Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for an AI Platform Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers its AI products. You will work on a high‑performance, on‑site team in Accra, building the foundation for model serving, GPU efficiency, and reliable agent operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate model‑serving and scaling infrastructure.
• Optimize GPU utilization, inference cost, and overall compute capacity.
• Build provisioning, orchestration, and observability layers for production agents.
• Develop automated deployment, rollback, and environment‑management pipelines.
• Define reliability standards, incident response processes, and monitoring alerts for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the platform accelerates feature development.

Required profile

• Proven experience running production AI/ML or high‑scale backend systems.
• Strong foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud platforms, containerisation, and orchestration.
• Experience with observability and reliability tooling.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
