Area HR TA Specialist / Area HR Generalist

About the role

This role supports core HR functions for an area, requiring senior professional knowledge in talent acquisition and HR operations. The incumbent works with minimal supervision to manage complex hiring and workforce relation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake meetings with managers to define job requirements and interview processes.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates, recommending qualified individuals to hiring managers.
• Coordinate the hiring process with internal and external stakeholders, including interview scheduling and pre‑hiring assessments.
• Provide training and support to hiring managers and HR on talent acquisition tools, best practices, and guidelines.
• Utilize the Oracle applicant tracking system to manage candidate flow and maintain accurate records.
• Handle workforce relations tasks such as dispute resolution, exit interviews, legal review of separations, and policy administration.
• Produce operational risk reports, ad‑hoc reporting, and communicate best practices throughout the recruiting cycle.

Required profile

• Member of the Church and holder of a temple recommend.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of professional HR experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations, especially talent acquisition.
• Strong relationship‑building, consulting, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and use computer equipment.
