Associate Financial Analyst

About the role

Rendeavour is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to support its urban land development projects across Africa. The role will involve financial and commercial analysis of new land sales, development initiatives, and related opportunities, reporting findings to senior management. You will work closely with the strategy and investor relations teams to help shape the financial direction of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in financial and commercial analysis of new land sales, development projects, and other business opportunities.
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed financial models and business plans for real‑estate developments, including infrastructure components such as power, water, and telecoms.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations for senior management, translating financial data into clear visual insights.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies under senior guidance.
• Support investor relations by maintaining accurate information memoranda for real‑estate and related projects.
• Participate in deal origination and execution processes, providing analytical support at various stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Financial modelling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with valuation methods and principles.
• Understanding of general accounting principles.
• Knowledge of finance and financial markets.
