About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Real Estate to join our team in Ghana. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will drive growth by identifying and securing real‑estate related business opportunities that align with PETRA’s financial solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect, build and maintain relationships with property developers, real‑estate agents, corporate clients and institutional partners.
- Manage a pipeline of leads, prepare tailored presentations, proposals and financial solutions, and close new business.
- Collaborate with product, legal and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Conduct market research on real‑estate and financial‑services sectors, monitor competitor activities and contribute to sales forecasts and strategic planning.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Approximately 7 years of experience in real‑estate or sales‑related roles.
- Proven track record in business development, sales or account management, preferably within real‑estate or financial services.
- Willingness to work on‑site, travel within Ghana as needed and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities with senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of real‑estate markets, investment concepts and basic financial‑planning principles, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication, presentation and proposal‑writing skills.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet targets and use CRM tools for tracking and reporting.
