Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead on‑site execution for multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong coordination of site teams, strict safety oversight, and proactive problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily site execution across all projects, aligning work with approved timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against schedules, resolve delays promptly, and keep projects on track.
• Directly supervise Site Supervisors, holding them accountable for timelines, output quality, and overall performance.
• Track material, labour, and equipment usage to maintain cost variance within acceptable limits.
• Enforce design specifications and quality standards through regular inspections and timely correction of defects.
• Provide accurate daily and weekly reports on progress, risks, delays, and cost performance.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and a zero‑tolerance approach to non‑compliance.
• Oversee procurement and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and labour resources.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and safety performance.
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and uphold construction quality standards to minimise rework and delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction or project management.
• Proven experience managing residential or commercial real‑estate projects.
• Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
