Coordinator Resource Mobilization and Finance

About the role

The Public Sector Reform Secretariat (PSRS) within the Office of the President seeks a Coordinator of Resource Mobilization and Finance to support its one‑year contract programme. The role focuses on financial management, procurement support, and resource mobilisation for public‑sector reform projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Programme Coordinator in preparing the Annual Work Programme.
• Maintain proper books of account and transaction records for each development partner agreement.
• Ensure compliance with all agreement requirements and Government of Ghana financial rules.
• Establish and operate internal control systems for the disbursement of PSRS funds.
• Manage and control the disbursement of IDA/DP funds across programme areas.
• Lead regular reconciliation of ledger and sub‑ledger accounts.
• Account for all received and utilized funds and provide financial reporting.
• Offer policy interpretation, systems‑operation advice, and resolve accounting‑related issues.
• Develop and update guidelines for fiscal policy implementation and expenditure management.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in public‑sector financial management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with development partner agreements and government funding mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in finance and accounting contexts.
