Director of Information Technology

About the role

The University seeks a senior leader to head its Information Technology function. Reporting to senior management, the Director will shape and sustain a modern IT environment that supports the institution’s research, teaching and administrative goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the university’s IT strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee the design, deployment, operation and maintenance of network, server and communication infrastructures.
• Ensure reliable delivery of core services such as data centers, cloud platforms, security and user support.
• Manage IT budgets, procurement and vendor relationships.
• Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering professional development and performance excellence.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units to align technology solutions with institutional priorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of senior‑level IT management experience, preferably in an academic or business environment.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale IT projects and drive digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of IT standards, processes, infrastructure and systems administration.
