Electrical Technician

About the role

Nestlé Ghana is seeking an Electrical Technician for its Tema Factory. The role involves maintaining and repairing all factory electrical equipment while supporting production lines to ensure reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support electrical installations, machine control and automation across the factory.
• Assist in planning initiatives to reduce or minimise power outages for plant equipment.
• Practice good housekeeping and engineering standards while performing tasks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of factory equipment and machinery.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and execute rapid containment actions.

Required profile

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Basic instrumentation knowledge.
• Professional and technical knowledge in electrical control and automation.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Solid planning and organisational abilities.
• Exposure to Total Performance Management is desirable.
• Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry is an advantage.
