Finance Manager

About the role

EMAS GROUP, a leading steel and metal‑recycling company in Ghana, seeks a results‑oriented Finance Manager to drive financial performance in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain robust cost systems to track materials, labour and overheads.
• Analyse product costing, margin opportunities and pricing strategies to improve operational performance.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting aligned with production targets.
• Manage cost accounting for raw materials, energy, labour and cost per ton.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, variances and plant performance.
• Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work‑in‑process and finished goods.
• Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support operational decisions.
• Manage cash flow and working capital for continuous production operations.
• Ensure tax compliance, audits and statutory reporting.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management systems.
• Partner with operations to improve efficiency, cost reduction and profitability.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting; professional certification such as ACCA, CA or CIMA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industry, with strong background in costing, inventory management and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting in a production environment.
• Experience ensuring tax compliance, audits and statutory reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
