About the role
The Guest Relations and Executive Lounge Manager supports all property operations, ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and service are delivered to guests. This full‑time role is based at the Accra Marriott Hotel and involves directing guests in the lobby, handling inquiries, and overseeing service issue resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Guest Services and Front Desk teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage guest flow, answer questions, and guide visitors within the lobby and executive lounge areas.
- Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and intervene in situations to maintain guest satisfaction and property integrity.
- Support implementation of customer recognition programs and conduct regular facility inspections for safety, appearance, and staffing compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, emergency plans, and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff, fostering a culture of honesty, integrity, and mutual respect.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related area, OR
- A two‑year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
