About the role
The Heart Of House Specialist (Utility Cleaner) supports essential hotel operations across kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry areas. Working at Marriott International in Accra, you will ensure clean linens, spotless dishware, and well‑maintained equipment for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and laundry areas.
- Prepare fresh linen and dishware for guest use.
- Operate dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Transport dishes and linens throughout the hotel.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any faults.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and uphold quality standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and reaching overhead.
Required profile
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- No prior related work experience needed.
- No supervisory experience or licenses required.
