HR Business Partner – Operations

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner – Operations will act as a strategic HR partner for the factory, aligning people initiatives with operational and production goals. Reporting to the HR Director, Ghana, the role supports workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, talent development, engagement and compliance to build a safe, high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.
• Support line managers in forecasting talent pipelines and planning workforce needs.
• Design, deliver and monitor employee training programmes.
• Review business performance targets and assess talent implications.
• Facilitate long‑term HR initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda.
• Provide development opportunities that match current and future performance standards.
• Develop feedback mechanisms to continuously improve HR services.
• Offer expert advice and coaching to employees and managers.
• Gather employee opinions, anticipate needs and address concerns.
• Benchmark internal and external HR practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Share best practices across functions and act as liaison between line management and HR.
• Identify new opportunities for HR to add value to the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant HR experience.
• Committed, action‑oriented and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent relationship and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to explore opportunities and challenges within a fast‑growing FMCG environment.
