Human Resource & Talent Manager

About the role

One of the leading corporate law firms in Ghana, with offices in Accra and London, is seeking an ambitious, self‑confident candidate to serve as Human Resource and Talent Manager. The role provides strategic leadership in developing and implementing an HR model that builds capacity for the firm and its employees.

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade the company’s HR policies and guidelines and ensure compliance with corporate HR standards.
• Assess HR needs, recruit new employees as directed, and oversee employee orientation, development and training.
• Advise on compensation and benefits administration and execute the staff/talent retention plan.
• Lead employee engagements that align talent management objectives with corporate goals.
• Facilitate workshops to review talent infrastructure, recommend cost‑saving measures and deliver business value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development or related field with at least 3 years progressive experience.
• Master’s degree in HR or prior experience with an international firm is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and ability to articulate the strategic value of integrated talent‑management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear analytical reports and executive summaries.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage projects with remote teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS and talent‑management technologies.
• Experience using recruiting, performance‑management, learning‑management and succession‑management systems.
