ICT Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE & Cambridge International A Level)

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced ICT Teacher to deliver the Cambridge IGCSE and International A Level curricula. The successful candidate will inspire learners, create a dynamic classroom environment, and ensure students are well‑prepared for their examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level syllabi.
• Prepare students effectively for Cambridge examinations and monitor their progress.
• Assess, record, and report on student performance regularly.
• Create a positive, stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Participate actively in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum five years of teaching experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum at IGCSE and A Level.
• Excellent knowledge of the Cambridge ICT/Computer Science syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Proven track record of preparing students for outstanding performance in Cambridge examinations.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for inspiring learners and commitment to continuous professional development.
