Line Cook – Full‑time Kitchen Position

About the role

Join a well‑known restaurant in the Accra & Tema region as a Line Cook. You will work in a fast‑paced kitchen, preparing dishes to exact standards while supporting the overall service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to approved recipes, quantities, cooking times and presentation standards.
• Set up and replenish the assigned workstation before and during service.
• Process food orders accurately, communicating special requests, substitutions or shortages to the supervisor.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes, product quality and service speed during peak periods.
• Label, store and rotate ingredients correctly and follow temperature‑control and food‑safety procedures.
• Keep the workstation, utensils and equipment clean, organised and sanitised throughout the shift.
• Assist with receiving, basic stock checks, preparation and end‑of‑shift cleaning as assigned.
• Report food‑quality concerns, wastage, stock shortages and equipment faults promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Kitchen Assistant or similar food‑production role (preferred).
• Basic practical knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, kitchen hygiene and safe equipment use.
• Ability to follow standard recipes, work quickly and accurately, and stay organised under pressure.
• Good personal hygiene, punctuality, teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Culinary or food‑safety training is an advantage.
