Machine Operator / Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator / Technician to join our manufacturing team in Accra. The role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe output.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machines following standard operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust settings and maintain optimal efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, perform minor repairs and report major failures.
• Set up machines before production runs and ensure product quality.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance and downtime records.
• Keep workstations clean and comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technicians to meet production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a machine operator, mechanical technician or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
