Operations Manager – Technical Operations

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead technical operations across client and project sites in Ghana, ensuring efficient resource allocation, process optimisation and high‑quality service delivery. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will act as the bridge between field teams and executives while travelling nationwide to support implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee technical activities at all client locations.
• Allocate technical resources, balance workloads and monitor productivity.
• Review and improve operational processes, work instructions and checklists.
• Identify and implement automation for repetitive administrative tasks.
• Track and resolve tickets on the support platform, escalating high‑priority issues.
• Collaborate with customer support and sales to remove operational friction.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing technical team, delivering training as needed.
• Provide on‑site technical support and guidance to staff and clients.
• Monitor, document and report technical challenges faced by field staff.
• Travel across the country, deploying to project sites for extended periods.
• Track performance metrics, KPIs and prepare reports for executive review.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in technical operations or IT support management.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work long and odd hours, including weekends.
• Readiness for frequent nationwide travel and on‑site deployments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
