Quality Assurance Manager (Contract)

About the role

Under general direction, the Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end‑user requirements. The role involves leading software testing, creating test data, and documenting complex problem resolutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• Document and resolve complex problems, reporting progress to management.
• Develop improvements to current procedures and model possible future configurations.
• Act as an information resource for technical writers and other QA analysts.
• Conduct complex workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of comparable experience in a similar QA role.
• Five years of experience in quality control, process control, or engineering capacity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work with diverse, often conflicting stakeholders on politically sensitive initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to effect positive change and manage professionals.
