Senior Apple/MacBook Repair Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Apple/MacBook Repair Technician to join our Accra team. You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues on Apple laptops and related devices, ensuring each repair meets our high standards of quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed hardware inspections, component‑level troubleshooting, and board‑level repairs on Apple laptops.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot macOS, as well as manage data backup and recovery operations.
• Provide accurate repair estimates, document all work performed, and maintain quality control on completed jobs.
• Order, verify, and install genuine spare parts while adhering to ESD‑safe handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate technical findings to customers in clear, non‑technical language.
• Mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in Apple/MacBook hardware diagnostics and component replacement.
• Proficiency with macOS installation, configuration, software troubleshooting, and data recovery.
• Experience using repair tools such as multimeters, soldering equipment, and ESD‑safe workstations.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication.
• Relevant technical diploma, certification, or training in electronics or computer hardware; Apple‑certified credentials are a plus.
