Senior Customer Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Senior Customer Portfolio Manager will own the relationship with gas power service customers in the SSA region, ensuring delivery of high‑quality solutions, new products and outage planning while driving financial performance of long‑term service agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Long‑Term Service Agreements and service contracts, including P&L responsibility.
• Monitor contract profitability, cost control and revenue recognition; develop strategies to improve margins.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services, upgrades or scope extensions.
• Coordinate with engineering, field service, parts supply and outage management teams to ensure successful service delivery.
• Track performance indicators such as unit availability, reliability and heat rate.
• Act as the primary operational and contractual point of contact for the customer, supporting planned, unplanned and forced outages.
• Maintain unit operating history and parts life history using commercially available software.
• Develop and execute sales plans for each customer and collaborate with sales, commercial and risk teams on new opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power generation services or power plant operations.
• Proven experience managing long‑term service contracts and P&L responsibility.
• Strong ability to build partnerships across value‑chain organizations.
