Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor – Leadership & Governance

About the role

NiBS University is seeking a distinguished scholar to join its faculty as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor in Leadership and Governance. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate, graduate and executive programmes, advance the university’s research agenda, and engage with public and private sector partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and continuously update courses on leadership, corporate governance, public management and strategic decision‑making for various programmes.
• Maintain an active research programme, publish regularly in peer‑reviewed international journals, and secure research funding where applicable.
• Supervise undergraduate capstones, master’s theses and doctoral dissertations.
• Lead curriculum development initiatives, chair departmental committees and mentor junior faculty members.
• Build partnerships with government, industry and NGOs to deliver executive training, consultancy projects and policy workshops.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Leadership, Governance, Public Administration, Management or a closely related field.
• For Senior Lecturer: 4–6 years of post‑doctoral teaching and research experience with a solid record of peer‑reviewed publications.
• For Associate Professor: extensive senior‑level academic experience, an international publication record, success in obtaining research grants and demonstrated academic leadership.
• Proven excellence in innovative pedagogy, including hybrid and online learning environments.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage diverse academic and industry stakeholders.
