Service Engineer – Mobile Crushers & Screens

About the role

Sandvik is looking for a proactive Service Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support and service for mobile crushers and screens across West Africa. You will work closely with local teams and customers to ensure reliable operation, optimise performance, and deliver training on our equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment through participation in Job Safety Analyses, risk assessments, toolbox talks and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide high‑level technical support and customer training on mobile crushers, screens, scalpers, conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Lead installation, assembly, commissioning, testing, performance validation and final handover of mobile equipment according to OEM specifications.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults on jaw, cone and impact crushers, feeders, conveyors, screens, bearings, diesel engines and wear components.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic systems.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with local teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel across West Africa and adapt to varied site conditions.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with customer, site and OEM safety standards.

Required skills

• Mechanical fault diagnosis on jaw, cone and impact crushers.
• Maintenance and repair of feeders, conveyors, screens and bearings.
• Diesel engine repair and wear component replacement.
• Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair.
• Installation and commissioning of mobile crushing and screening equipment.
