Site Engineer

About the role

Pillarix Construction Limited Works is seeking a full‑time Site Engineer to join its on‑site team in Kumasi. The role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with engineering disciplines to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day construction operations on assigned sites.
• Monitor and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with civil and structural engineers to align design specifications with field execution.
• Track project timelines and budgets, reporting progress to senior management.
• Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site project management and coordination.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of quality control processes in construction.
• Knowledge of structural and civil engineering concepts.
• Problem‑solving ability and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; prior on‑site experience preferred.
