Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role

Sirious Heat Factory (SHF) is seeking a full‑time remote Social Media Marketing Intern to join its Accra‑based team. The intern will help shape and execute SHF’s social presence across multiple platforms, supporting the promotion of its audio‑technology services and creative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Brainstorm and draft engaging social media content ideas aligned with brand campaigns.
• Write and edit captions, schedule posts, and publish on Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Monitor comments, messages and community interactions, responding where appropriate.
• Track engagement metrics, prepare simple performance reports and assist with paid campaign set‑up under supervision.
• Collaborate with production and marketing teams to showcase case studies, behind‑the‑scenes footage and client work.

Required profile

• Strong interest in social media and digital marketing, preferably studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced creative environment.
• Familiarity with audio, music, film or other creative industries is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Basic understanding of analytics tools and willingness to learn performance interpretation.
