Solar Engineer / Technician

About the role

EcoLumière Solutions Limited is seeking a full‑time Solar Engineer/Technician to join its team in the Greater Accra Region. You will be responsible for designing, installing, testing, and commissioning solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and prepare layout drawings for PV arrays and related equipment.
• Size system components, design cable routing, and specify protection devices.
• Install, test, and commission solar PV systems, including inverters and grid‑connection equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and clients to deliver projects on schedule and document all work performed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with solar PV installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for working at heights and with live systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Greater Accra Region.
