Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our finished‑goods warehouse in Takoradi. The role involves overseeing receiving, shipping, inventory control and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure smooth, safe and efficient warehouse performance.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage all warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, inventory control, system accounting and production planning.
• Lead, supervise and develop a team of warehouse staff, allocating work, providing training and conducting performance assessments.
• Conduct daily 6S inspections to maintain organization, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proactively mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate with internal forklift, receiving, shipping and data teams as well as external departments such as import/export, HR, security, production, transportation and planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inter‑departmental warehouse matters and report anomalies to senior management.
• Maintain accurate system accounting and inventory records, balancing stock levels to meet production and customer demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, provide coaching and conduct performance evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management and safety standards.
