Warehouse Operations Intern

About the role

M-KOPA Ghana is seeking a Warehouse Operations Intern to join its logistics team. This hands‑on role supports the preparation, tracking, and dispatch of PAYGO smartphones that enable customers across Africa to access credit, connectivity and solar energy.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and prepare PAYGO phones according to standard procedures, aiming for a daily target of 300 ready‑for‑sale units.
• Process orders and coordinate dispatch to ensure timely delivery of stock to the right locations.
• Maintain accurate records of current stock, stock in channel and total sales.
• Monitor internal tracking tools and generate basic operational reports.
• Keep the workstation clean, follow 6S standards and wear personal protective equipment to maintain a safe warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Recently completed school or early work experience, preferably in a warehouse, retail or similar hands‑on setting.
• Quick learner who can follow processes consistently and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems or eager to learn.
• Dependable, team‑oriented and takes responsibilities seriously.
